Bilingual Software Bridge Engineer Leader (Full-time)

■ Job Description
Role as an on-site bridge engineer and coordinator for software development
– Grasp and analyze requirements
– Design, implementation and testing of software systems using customer software frameworks and tools on customer sites
– Get answers to offshore questions in meetings with customers
– Coordinate between the team and the customer to help solve problems that reduce the team’s performance
– Perform a review of offshore work deliverables and check the quality
– Provide work deliverables that meet the quality within the schedule
– Customer support in QA test
– Report progress, risks and problems to customers as necessary
– Build and nurture relationships with Japanese customers

■ Required Requirements

• Have a degree in engineering or engineering
• Japanese: N2 or above
  English: Business english
• Experience in developing software for Linux operating systems (Red Hat/CentOS, etc.)
• Experience in developing software for the Windows operating system (using the Windows SDK)
• Have programming experience in C
• Have programming experience in C++ or C#
• Have experience in creating shell scripts (Shell/Bash)
• Experience in the software development life cycle
• Excellent problem analysis ability and document creation ability
• Have strong communication and collaboration skills to adapt to a complex co-development environment

■ Preferred Skills

• Experience using a version control system like Git or Subversion
• Experience in device (machine) control software development
• Knowledge of knowledge-between-process communication (IPC) in socket programming, multi-threading
• Experience in the semiconductor manufacturing domain
• Understand and experience the industry standards of SEMI conductors such as SECS/GEM and EDA

■ Salary
¥6,000,000 to ¥9,000,000 per year
