Our Japan-based client, specializing in engineering and consulting, is currently seeking candidates for the following position.

Position: Technical Translator and Interpreter
Status: Full-time
Location: Aichi Prefecture

Job Detail:

• Japanese-English and English-Japanese translation of documents and emails in the automotive engineering field.
• Translation/interpretation at the project meeting (Japanese to English, English to Japanese).
• Communicate with the development team through email, phone, web-based platforms, and face-to-face meetings with both domestic and international members.
  This recruitment will be adopted by a Japanese corporation!

Requirement:

• a) Automobile-related
  – More than 2 years of translation experience in the engineering field (automotive-related) (Japanese → English, English → Japanese)
• b) Model-based development
  – Familiar with model-based development in Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow
  – Optimize the size and execution time of the model
  – Knowledge in automotive-related fields (especially related to AD/ADAS systems)
  – BE/ME – E&E / Automobile / ECE
• c) ADAS SE
  – Preparation of ADAS requirements specification
  – Understanding ADAS system requirements for functions such as ACC, CC, speed limiter, and LKA for OEMs
  – Familiar with the functional and logic specifications
• Required: Japanese language proficiency of N1 & Business-level English
• Business or communication with people outside the company, such as customers and vendors
• Software, hardware, control technology, electrical/electronic, machine-related knowledge or translation experience
• Those who are good at or familiar with mathematics
• Experience of communicating with foreigners

  If b, c is difficult, you are welcome if you have experience in the automobile industry
