ADAS Engineer

KapanJepan is partnering with an Engineering and Consulting firm in Japan, and we are looking for an ADAS Engineering to join their team.

ADAS Engineer (Full-time/Permanent with Probation)

■ Job Detail
You will be responsible for the following tasks entrusted to us by the OEM.
- Confirmation of relevant laws and regulations.
- ADAS system development.
- Creation and management of requirements specifications for Tier 1 suppliers (especially ACC: Adaptive Cruise Control and AEB: Autonomous Emergency Brake).
- Consultation and coordination with related departments within the company, and specification consultation with Tier 1 suppliers, etc.
- Product defect response (analysis, consultation with the company and Tier 1 suppliers, reporting to OEM, etc.).
- Project management.
*You will not be entrusted with everything from the beginning, but will be assigned tasks according to your experience and inclinations.

■ Required Requirements
- Understanding of the overall in-vehicle system architecture level.
- 3+ years of embedded software development experience.
- Familiar with creating system specifications for ADAS functions.
- Business-level English (English will be used in internal meetings and when reporting to your supervisor).
- Proficient in Japanese - native level or JLPT N2 or higher.

■ Allowances
The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including an annual salary increase, a commuting allowance (up to 20,000 yen/month), and a full annual salary system (paid monthly in 1/12 installments).
