Algorithm Data Scientist

We are assisting one of our clients in the Engineering Services Industry to recruit for the following position.

Algorithm Data Scientist (Full-time)

■ Work Location
Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan

■ Job Description
- Analyze data from semiconductor equipment, implement algorithms in tools and apply them to solve extraction and improvement problems
- Analyze data from semiconductor equipment and develop algorithms for automation and autonomy, focusing on equipment control and integration
- Understand and analyze requirements
- Coordinate between team and customer to help resolve issues that reduce team performance
- Deliver quality work products on schedule
- Provide customer support during QA testing
- Report progress, risks, and issues to clients as needed
- Build and nurture relationships with Japanese customers

■ Requirements
- Experience in algorithm development using machine learning or related techniques
- Familiarity with Python, MATLAB, R for data preparation and algorithm development
- Experience with agile software development models
- Strong problem analysis and documentation skills
- Strong communication & collaboration skills to fit in a highly collaborative development environment
- Business Japanese (N3 above)

■ Salary and Benefits
- Estimated Salary: JPY 5,500,000 - 6,500,000 per year
