Service Engineer

We are assisting one of our clients in the Engineering Industry (Japan-based) for the following position:

Service Engineer (Full-time/Permanent with Probation)

Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan

■ Job Detail
[Maintenance and Commissioning of Wind Turbine Equipment]
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and repair of wind turbine components (primarily mechanical parts).
- Coordination and preparation with relevant parties (internal and external) to execute maintenance and repair tasks.
- Documentation: Create operation manuals, test results, etc.
- Internal administrative tasks related to the above duties (e.g., data entry in company systems).
[Performance Testing and Commissioning of Turbine Generators]
Responsibilities:
- Conduct tests on rotating machinery and perform QA/QC tasks.
- Assist other groups with tasks such as electrical testing of turbine generators (study and training will be provided if required).
- Handle incidental tasks related to workplace operations.

■ Required Requirements
- Work or educational experience in electrical fields (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering).
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Language Requirements: Japanese (N2 / Business level) and English (Business level).

■ Salary and Benefits
- Monthly salary: ¥200,000–¥250,000 (with bonuses)
- Annual salary increase: Yes (based on company policy)
- Social insurance: As required by law
- Company housing: Available, with the company covering 60% of the cost
